Grey fox trapping? Empty yup

Post  water n my boots Fri May 02, 2008 7:51 pm

yup glad i could help.....also, try fish oil and fish heads set up with a 1 1/2.....killer set up
TIP: place a film canister in the bottom of your dirt hole.....put in a cotton ball
Poke a couple holes in the lid with a needle, squirt a little fish oil in the cotton ball and put on the lid...put in a fish head over the canister, but try to keep it all about six inches down so they have to dig.

and your best set will probally be a dirt hole set but those greyfox have a habbit of approaching the set from behind then you have to put like a row of rocks behind the set make that 2 rows and then it should be about 5-7 inches high then they will not steal the bait as easy i will try to get a pic of how it should look there was some thing on t-man i will do a search there for it but they say grey fox are harder to catch they are way littler and can steel your bait easy

Grey fox trapping? Empty pics

Post  ray12 Fri Apr 03, 2009 11:22 am

in here are lots of pics but i am posting them because some of them show the thing i was talking about but they just used wood in some of them but they made it high so the fox would come in from the front these are not my pics they are from t-man http://www.trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1281870/1

i posted them here so you could see what i meant there is one pic whith one big stone behind the set that would be a good example
