with a mink set! i use lots of blind sets for mink... here is the secret, a mink is not a water animal, but he does do lots of hunting in and around the water. being that he is not a water animal he does not really want to get wet. so here is the secret..."a mink enters the water in the last possible place and exits the water at the first possible place." put your trap there and you can't miss. just think about the popular bridge abutment set. its the last place to go in and the first to get out. it takes some thinking but you'll get it. one day it will just click then you will see sets everywhere.

there is many ways to trap mink, blind set, trail runs, and bait sets. at blind sets, you usually place a 110 coni bear where there is a area where it is usually concealed. ex, setting a 110 in a culbert that is being ran often by mink. trail runs you just set a 110 in a trail to where the simply walk through the coni, make sure sure yo set the trigger hairy and in the middle of the trap. bait sets are where you can use a 1 or 1.5ls or cs and use fish oil,etc.. and lure them to the set trap.
