PVC set...

hi guys,,,figured id start off this forum with a tip or two...
PVC set: Most of you trappers prolly know about this set already, but i figured id tell ya anyway... drive 16 inch long, 2 in. pvc pipe 4 inches in to the ground... put bait in bottom and cover with leaves. place ldc lure around rim of pipe. Set 1 3/4 or similar sized trap about six inches from the pipe. Sometimes it is best to put two traps at opposite sides.

wedge set...this one is pretty rare and not too popular...when trapping a creek, wedge a sunfish or trout (dead) between two rocks in the water..with half of the back out of the water...it should look like the fish swam into shallow water and got stuck in the rocks and died. set a trap on the ground around the bank near the trap and one in the water near the downstream side at the fishes face.

i use the pvc in the water. it works good, i know a guy who runs like 300 miles a day and this is his go to set. he just drives the pipe in a few inches off the water and puts bait in the back. put a trap in front and get goin to the next one. its fast and easy
